Reflecting on 2020, even in this year there's so much to be thankful for....

Throughout this insane year of navigating zoom calls and distant learning the housing market has seen an unexpected growth. Interest rates dropped to record lows and immense time spent in the home made for people ready to move to bigger and better homes. Between balancing the ever changing school schedules and new norms, here at Mirambell Realty we have been busy, busy, busy! And we are so thankful for that and mostly so thankful for all the clients throughout the year that have trusted us in helping them find their first or next home. We are nothing without our clients to support our local boutique brokerage and our clients have truly been the best this year and throughout all our years.
This year we saw some wonderful changes at Mirambell Realty. We shifted from a lockdown to working in our stunning new office on Metairie Road (Big thanks to another local company, JL Studios, for designing such a perfect space).
And with the new office and a booming market we saw our brokerage grow by 20%. We have brought on some incredible new and seasoned agents this year and it’s made our lunch and learns, Friday lunches, and office events even more fun as the MBell Family has grown.
Our agents have also seen some incredible honors this year too! In January Robyn Bruno was awarded by RISMedia the 2020 Newsmakers Inspirations Award. Michelle Rousse was selected by City Business for the 2020 Excellence in Real Estate. As their broker and friend I couldn’t be prouder of the two of them. Both woman have worked so hard this year and both will kick off 2021 by being inducted into our brokerage’s Rolex Club. Another Mirambell Realty agent, Mary Dominach, will likely be making that feat too as even down to the last days she’s out their working nonstop. So many of our agents have worked their butts off throughout the craziest real estate market this year. We are ending the year with five agents ranking in the top 10% of regional realtors and the brokerage ranking in the top 5% of brokerages. It’s incredible and I’m so humbled and honored by all the hard work this team has put in this year.
I, myself, have kept busy this year; still helping clients find their new homes as well as guiding the newest agents through the starting points of their career. I was even honored this year by Biz New Orleans as a Top Real Estate Influencer.
So as the another year comes to a close and we finally end this 72 month long year. I have to say there was definitely things to find joy and positivity in the madness of 2020. Now if everyone can yell "Jumanji!" at midnight on December 31 so we can end this, that would be great.
